Process Lasso – Process Manager

I found this nice freeware program on Ghacks. It manages your processes that you have running on Windows. If there is a process using too much CPU then it will terminate it if you set it up that way. It will also automatically terminate any program you set if you don’t want it running.

Process Lasso is also very nice for giving higher priority to certain programs, such as games. You can type the name of the file that you want to give higher priority to in the default priority list. This is the reason why I wanted to try out Process Lasso because I wanted to give my games a higher priority than my other programs. So far it seems to do its job.

Process Lasso can run in the background so it doesn’t take up many resources. It gives you a nice little meter in your task bar to tell you how responsive your computer is. There are many other useful ways you could use Process Lasso that I have yet to try.
