Halo 3 is a Day Away
By Josh | September 24, 2007
By this time tomorrow the game will have been out for awhile and people will be playing the campaign or playing online with their friends. The big question though is, is Halo 3 going to live up to its hype? I certainly think it will, and since I played in the public beta over the summer I can say that it definitely was going in the right direction.
The Nintendo Wii has been the strong system out of the three current gaming systems, while Playstation 3 really hasn’t had much luck. Xbox 360 hasn’t been doing bad, but Halo 3 is going to be the big moment for it. Many people probably will be buying an Xbox 360 only for Halo 3, so this will probably boost the sales for the system.

I hope that Microsoft and Bungie are ready for the big release tomorrow, and I hope that the game lives up to its hype. From all of the videos out there, it definitely looks like it the game will keep everyone busy for days, weeks, months, or even years. I don’t think I’ll be going to the midnight release tonight since I won’t be playing it until tomorrow afternoon anyways. I’m not one of those people that like to skip class/work for a video game. Maybe one of these days my college will allow Xbox Live on the network so I can get on and fight with some of you guys.
