Beemp3: Search for Free Music

Beemp3.com allows you to search for free music, and it will give you the link location to download the songs. What makes this site stand out from the various other music searching sites that I’ve written about is that it has three lists on the front page that give you the top ten songs searched for in the world, U.S., and Europe. You can then click on the links and it will take you to the download page. There is also a list at the bottom of the page that shows you the latest 200 searches, which is nice if you want to see what others are currently searching for.
It’s a lot like Skreemr.com except that you can’t play the song directly from the website. I also tried using Winamp to search and download from Beemp3.com like you can with Skreemr.com but Winamp couldn’t find the music files. That’s not really a problem though, but it’s just a feature I like.
The layout of Beemp3.com is a nice simple layout, and the theme is a catchy one. It’s definitely another one of those good music download sites to remember for later when you want a specific song.
