Camera that Looks into the Future
01/08/2008 // No Comments // Categories: Technology // Tags: camera, enitech, future, gardner, picture, project, research, science, time, video.I’m not sure whether to believe this or not. I’m thinking that this is some sort of joke being played on the public, and the blogs are helping to spread it around. If so, then I guess I’m helping it out by just talking about it. I’m sure the website has been getting a lot of visitors just from traffic coming from other blogs.
What it is is a project called the Gardner project by EniTech. They claim that their camera is able to capture faster than light particles, which then produces an image from them. They also claim that this image is a glimpse into the future, which they believe is approximately 1,191 days in the future. They show a couple of examples on their website that they say prove that their device works. Just by looking at the comments you can tell that a lot of people believe this is real. Right now, I’m just going to let it play out and keep checking in on it to see the progress that the “project” makes. It seems kinda fishy to me, but I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
They say that by glimpsing into the future we may be changing the future. They say that if we know what is going to happen, then we may avoid it or pursue it. If anybody finds out whether this is a hoax or not, let me know. It definitely would change a lot if it were true, but I can’t get myself to believe it right now. Here is a video from their website. Let me know what you think in the comments below.
