Rip CDs and DVDs to the Harddrive with AcetoneISO2 [Linux]

This has to be the best ripping program I have seen for Ubuntu so far. It has all kinds of features that I would expect from such a program. You have the ability to rip a CD or DVD to an ISO, and then you can mount the ISO image directly in AcetoneISO2. It comes with the ability to rip a DVD to an AVI file. Also, you could convert a generic video file or FLV file to AVI.

I’ve had some trouble getting it to play a DVD ISO image. I went into the options and changed my media player to VLC, but that still didn’t work. At least I can still manually open VLC and play the mounted ISO image through there.
There are plenty of other features available in AcetoneISO2. Other features include a Youtube video downloader, ripping a PSX game, splitting and merging images, encrypting and decrypting images, and more.
In order to install AcetoneISO2, copy and paste the following command into a terminal:
wget http://internap.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/acetoneiso2/acetoneiso2_20080508-1_i386.deb ; sudo dpkg -i acetoneiso2_20080508-1_i386.deb
Via Ubuntu Unleashed.
