A Couple of iPhone Wallpaper Sources
By Josh | August 7, 2008
After a while, I get tired of looking at the same wallpaper on my iPhone. Lately I’ve just been using Lolcat pictures as my wallpaper, but I felt like I wanted something more “normal.” There are of course many places to find and download wallpapers for your iPhone, but I wanted to mention a couple that I think are noteworthy.
The Daily Wallpaper iPhone Web Application by iPhone Toolbox is a nice source of pictures that are sized to fit the iPhone screen. It’s easy to sort by category to find the wallpaper that you would like. I wanted something abstract, and I was able to easily find something that satisfied my taste on there. (Via)
Another, maybe more obvious, approach to getting wallpapers is to use the deviantART website. Visiting deviantART on the iPhone gives you a special version of the website that allows you to easily navigate their huge database of images. Once you find a nice wallpaper, which I’m sure you’ll find many on DeviantArt, just save it and set it on your iPhone.
I’m still in the process of finding more iPhone wallpaper sources, so if you know of any let me know in the comments.
