Cookie Bonus Solitaire: Free iPhone Solitaire Game

Solitaire can be so addicting even though it is so simple.  I’ve been looking for a good solitaire game for the iPhone that was free or cheap, and I ended up finding Cookie Bonus Solitaire, which is free.  It’s a great game with a few little twists compared to your standard solitaire game.

First of all, you are given cookies, which act as multipliers to your score.  The more cookies you have left at the end of the game, the higher the score you will have.  It’s a great way to try to encourage you to play wisely to get a higher score.  Then you get four “cheats” that you can use if you get stuck.  This is a nice feature especially if it seems like you have no more moves left.  One of the cheats only seems useful when used in conjunction with another cheat.  You’ll need to play it in order to see what I’m talking about.

There is also an online play mode that will allow you to play online and chat with others.  This is a neat feature that is different from other standard solitaire games that I’ve played.  I really haven’t tried it out too much, but it seems like a good way to waste some time.

Since the game is free, it is supported by ads.  The ads come up once you start a new game, and are easily skipped if you don’t want to click on them.  I’m glad that the ads aren’t constantly getting in your way while playing the game.
