MySpace Music Launching Tonight
By Josh | September 24, 2008
I had forgotten that MySpace was launching their own music site. Tonight at 9 p.m. PST is the time that it is launching according to ReadWriteWeb. It seems as though they will have all four major record labels supporting their site. This is great news, but probably not so great news for a site like Imeem. I currently have been using Imeem to find songs that I hear on the internet or radio, and it has been a great way to share songs with friends. However, now that MySpace is saying that they will have streaming music from all four labels, I will probably be using it for finding music. I guess I’ll see once it launches. They’ll also have a way to purchase DRM free songs, and ways to create playlists. I personally can’t wait to see what it’s like. Hopefully it will be as good as it sounds.
