Trichius (monochrome drypoint)

The best of my monochrome drypoint etchings today. This is oil-based ink on Kent paper. We were supposed to do a final print on Fabriano but the block degraded long before that, even after re-cutting. I reckon rhenalon plates are good for a max of 4 prints before they are toast… Maybe I’m rubbing back too hard, dunno.
